IIT JEE 2012 Online Registration Starts Today
The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) 2012 online registration process begins from today i.e. 31st October, 2011. The IIT JEE 2012 Online Application is made available on all IITs' official websites http://www.iitg.ac.in/jee/. IIT JEE 2012 is scheduled to be held on 8th April, 2012.
The online mode of application process for IIT-JEE will remain active from 31st October, 2011 to 10th December, 2011 and the offline mode i.e. physical sale of application form, will be available from 11th November, 2011 to 5th December, 2011. The last date for submission of completed application forms (offline or printed copy of the online form) is 15th December, 2011.
IIT-JEE is a national level entrance test, conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into various undergraduate courses at all IITs (Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Rajasthan, Roorkee, Ropar), IT-BHU Varanasi, and ISM Dhanbad.
IIT JEE 2012 will also work on a different method of qualification marks in which candidates will have to score at least 10% marks in all the three subjects and a minimum aggregate of 35% to make it to the common rank list.
The answer keys for IIT JEE 2012 will be published online at least three weeks after the examination.
