TNPSC Departmental May 2011 Examination Result Announced

More than 170 tests are conducted by TNPSC every six months in May and in Dec for Government services required under various services. It includes TNEB, TWAD & Chennai Metrowater etc. About 60,000 personnel take the exams every May and 25,000 every December.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission performs various duties and functions. TNPSC also conducts Half-Yearly tests for probationers IAS, IPS, IFS, State Civil Service, TN Police Service, TN Forest Service, etc. amil Nadu Public Service Commission has had a glorious past of 75 years. During 1923, the Lee Commission had recommended setting up of a Central Public Service Commission in India, but it did not give much thought to the need of establishing similar commissions in provinces.

TNPSC Group 2 Result 2010-11 Declared shortly

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced results 2011 for the posts of Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Surgeon. TNPSC Group 2 Result 2010 available on the official website www.tnpsc.gov.in. TNPSC has issued the list candidates selected provisionally for Assistant Commissioner in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department. Oral Test was held on 9th December, 2010.

The list of candidates selected provisionally for the post of assistant surgeon in the Tamil Nadu medical service based on the special qualifying test, 2009. Written exam was held on 29th Nov 2009 and Oral Test was held from 28th Sep to 21st Oct 2010.
